The Vikings are back!  Come along to this family-friendly Viking event at the Kyle pitch this summer. The Glasgow Vikings will be joining us on the 11th of July to provide a living history experience at the Kyle pitch.  We will be located at the Kyle of Lochalsh pitch, just before the Skye Bridge. Our event will feature fierce battles, a Viking village where you can experience Viking life, interactive displays, and more! What you can expect throughout the day - 10:00 - 16:00 - A living village where you can experience how Vikings lived through many activities such as;  Combat displays Coin minting  A Viking kitchen demonstrating how they cooked using Viking ingredients A weapons display  Viking textiles  Viking crafts Local market stalls There is something for everyone and we guarantee it to be fun for all the family!
