Bishop first hit the national scene in 1965 with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, introducing electric Chicago blues to the rock audience. He later scored big in 1975 with "Fooled Around And Fell In Love," which reached number three on the pop charts. Today, he continues to tour and release new music, mixing thick blues grooves with timeless rock flavors and homespun wisdom.
