In Desideria, young adults seek identity through community. The deported notion examines complex aspects of young adult life through choreography, absurd physics and text. The company dives into themes like love, desire, intimacy, loneliness and body, as well as challenging dichotomy around femininity/masculinity and life/death. The result is fragmented stories of the wounded, warm and comic sides of young adult life, divided into an intimate room between spectators and ensembles. Together we share the longing -- desideria -- jointly. The show is deported by the company itself, and is a tribute to both ensemble theatres and the messy phase between youth and adult life.
