
Gareth Malone is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Music where he studied with Janice Chapman and Jonathan Papp. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of East Anglia and Freedom of the City of London in 2010. In 2012 he was made OBE in the Queen's birthday honours for services to music. His countrywide tour Sing along a Gareth saw him working alongside Gary Barlow and Lord Lloyd Webber on The Royal Variety show. Most recently, Gareth appeared in Sing For The King: The Search for the Coronation Choir. Where the show followed the nationwide search for a choir to perform for The King and Queen Consort at the Coronation Concert. His tour Sing-a-long-a-Gareth took to the road again in the second half of the year and is back in a new form for 2026. Babies in arms (ages 0-2) are not admitted into the auditorium. All persons aged 14 and under must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by an adult over 18. A max of 8 tickets per person and per household applies. Tickets in excess of 8 will be cancelled. For customers buying stalls tickets, please note that Stalls seating is not tiered and customers may stand during the performance. Standing will NOT be permitted in the Balcony, due to Health & Safety reasons. Patrons who therefore do not wish to stand during seated concerts need to book tickets in this area. Access to the balcony is via stairs only - there is no lift to this area. For anyone with limited mobility Stalls seating would be the most suitable option.
