Born and raised in Frederikshavn and since the 1980s one of the country's most original troubadours with a mixture of rock, people and personal, poetic texts. Olsen hits a very special combination of honesty, underplayed humor, strong craftsmanship and a unique North Jutland storytelling voice, which few other Danish artists match. He is loved for his solo concerts, where presence and stories take up as much as the music and, with the exception of his popular collaboration in the Dalton Trio with Johnny Madsen and Lars Lilholt, his entire career appeared and published in his own name.
