Taipei, 1960. Fourteen-year-old Xiao Sir drifts toward trouble after being transferred to a night school. Edward Yang based the film on a real incident that shook Taiwan during his youth, a first case in the nations history. The title comes from a line in the 1960 Elvis Presley rendition of the song Are You Lonesome Tonight? This event is 18 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 18 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.
