About
Fever dreams follow 16-year-old Charlotte through one home party in Eastfold. In one hour, the audience is thrown into the chaos of youth where everything happens simultaneously: love, rush, belonging, loss. What starts as a party gradually becomes something else -- a meeting with a dark in Charlotte, which becomes difficult to relate to. Fever dreams are told through short, sudden scenes. Moods change without warning. It's high speed, music, light -- and breaks where everything stops. Such youth times are often experienced: fragmented, overwhelming, without clear transitions. The text is written from the inside of today's youth environments, based on the playwright's own growth in Eastfold, and is played by young people themselves. “I wanted to create a place where young people can feel themselves, not be explained, a room where evil is not wrapped up, but also not romantic,” said Celina Aanes Larsen. Fever is about mental health as it often looks: quiet, inexplicable, difficult to put words on. If you don’t dare to say so loudly. About the fear of being too much -- and disappear completely. The show premiered at the National Theatre, June 2025. A developed version of guests played at Eastfold Theatre, April 2026.
