Yvan CassarThis intimate conviction Yvan Cassar acquired over more than 15 years when he accompanied Johnny as musical director. It is the starting point for a unique project that will be entrusted to him: to restore all the strength and emotion of Johnny Hallyday's voice as it resonated in concert, while offering him the sound script that allows for studio recordings. From this ambition two albums were born: in 2019, JOHNNY, then in 2021 ACT II. Both are based on a new principle: to preserve Johnny Hallyday's live vocals and to magnify them with new arrangements, sometimes symphonic, sometimes deliberately purified. A faithful tribute to the artist, with this intensity that only the scene could reveal. The reception of the public exceeds all expectations. An idea then naturally dictates: to return these songs to their place of origin. In May 2022, JOHNNY SYMPHONIQUE took the road for a first tour of twenty dates. Under the direction of Yvan Cassar, more than a hundred musicians, a chorus and a spectacular visual creation accompany Johnny's voice, released on three giant screens. The greatest classics find their breath again: Diego, free in his head, L的Envie, Turn on fire, That I love you, but also Mary, Blood for blood or I promise you. Faced with public enthusiasm, a new series of concerts was scheduled in the spring of 2024, enriched with new titles including Gabrielle, Noir c'est noir or the mythical medley rhythm and blues imagined by Johnny in the sixties. The repertoire expands, emotion remains intact. In total, these two tours will have attracted more than 100,000 spectators. In 2027, as the public prepares to commemorate the ten years of Johnny Hallyday's disappearance, JOHNNY SYMPHONIQUE opens a new chapter.From November 10, 2027, the show will leave for 23 dates across France until March 2028. Still under the direction of Yvan Cassar, he will continue to make sound this unique voice, carried by the power of a symphonic orchestra and a spectacular staging. But this new tour will go even further. True to Johnny's spirit, she will offer new musical paintings, an enriched repertoire and several outstanding guests who will come to share this celebration.
