About ITZY ITZY was founded in 2019 under JYP Entertainment and debuted with the single "DALLA DALLA." The song reached third place in the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart and gained 17.1 million video views on YouTube on the day of release. Billboard Magazine placed "DALLA DALLA" on number 20 in the list "25 Best K-pop Songs of 2019: Critics' Pick." The group also won the Best New Artist Award at the 2020 Korean Music Awards. The next single "WANNABE" reached fourth place in the Song Sales-chart, was among the ten most streamed K-pop songs worldwide on Spotify and was number 31 in the Emerging Artists-chart. The band's third album, Not Shy, was placed eleventh in the Billboard Social 50 chart and eighth in the World Albums chart. The albums IT'z ICY and IT'z ME also entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. In 2021, it made its first national TV debut in MTV's Fresh Out Live. In May of that year the six song EP GUESS WHO entered the Billboard 200. Later the first studio album CRAZY IN LOVE followed. That album reached first place in several Billboard rankings, including Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales and World Albums, and entered number 11 in the Billboard 200. The single "LOCO," which the group performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, reached fourth place in Billboard's World Digital Song Sales. The song was nominated for an MTV VMA 2022 in the category "Best K-Pop." In 2022 ITZY released the fifth mini-album release CHECKMATE. This EP reached eighth place in the Billboard 200. The band performed with the single "SNEAKERS" in MTV's Fresh Out Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Later that year, the EP followed CHESHIRE and the first world tour, with performances in eight sold-out venues in the United States. In July 2023 the seventh EP KILL MY DOUBT was released, with the singles "BET ON ME," "None of My Business" and "Cake." In 2024, the group released the eighth EP BORN TO BE, followed by the <2ND WORLD TOUR BORN TO BE>, which traveled along arenas in 28 regions. At the end of 2024 the ninth EP GOLD appeared, with a collaboration with Changbin of Stray Kids. In 2025, ITZY released the mini album GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS and announced the 3RD WORLD TOUR in SEOUL. TUNNEL VISION reached fourth place in the U.S. World Albums chart and was the second consecutive release of the group that gained this position, after GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS.
