This small, tastefully designed restaurant with its modern, minimalist aesthetic is deservedly much sought after. Thanks to the fully open kitchen, you can watch at close quarters how a 10-course pescatarian menu takes shape. The modern, creative dishes may seem simple at first glance, but reveal remarkable complexity and detail. A fine example is the lightly cooked, meltingly tender fillet of brook trout, served with mushrooms, fresh horseradish and artichoke purée, accompanied by a creamy, aromatic mushroom sauce. Fermented and preserved elements are also incorporated. The Attentive Team will gladly tell you all about each creation. Information about the carefully selected seasonal produce – sourced largely from the surrounding Hamburg region – is presented in the restaurant's "Friend Book". A vegetarian version of the set menu is also available. It is certainly worth perusing the nicely curated wine list. The set menu can be paired with wines or house-made alcohol-free accompaniments.
