Set within the striking A22 hotel, this chic restaurant overlooking the historic Viesturdārzs park is named after John F Kennedy, who stayed here back in 1939; be sure to keep an eye out for some of the original art nouveau features, which have been carefully restored. The room now has a romantic feel, helped along by a ceiling bedecked in roses, and the menu is modern too, with a diverse selection of dishes highlighting seasonal local produce, from Arctic char to locally farmed ostrich. The King crab with lemon aioli and pickled apples is a hit, as is the delicious honey cake.
