Between 1915 and 1950, this 56-room house was home to the family of Henry Ford. Originally designed by Marion Mahony Griffin in Prairie style, after construction began in 1913 the plans were altered by William H. Van Tine, who added elements of Late English Gothic style.[16] Photo: Dave Parker, CC BY 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:HenryFordEstateSWSide.jpg)
