About
Image Credit: After the success achieved in Comporta, Cavalariça choose Évora, the oldest city in the Alentejo, to open another outpost. This time, the setting is the grand Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval, a fourteenth-century building now transformed into a vibrant space, full of cheerful colors that foreshadow the energy of the flavours served at the table. The menu celebrates sharing, with snacks and dishes conceived to share at the centre of the table, complemented by a tasting menu called Cavalry Experience (7 courses). Among the suggestions, standouts include Empanadas filled with lamb step with seaweed sauce, the unmissable Alentejan pork pluma (fillet of Alentejo pork), served with smoked peppers, jus and lettuce and, for a fine finale, the dark-and-white chocolate mousse with coconut biscuit and Portuguese milky coffee ice creams the experience to close with delicacy and sweetness.
