Indeed, his dishes are modern and creative, combining classic and Japanese influences: think "black cod with sesame, spinach & soy beurre blanc" or "cordon bleu {tonkatsu style} with shiitake cream & cucumber salad". The space is all clean-lined chic; the terrace in front of the restaurant is lovely. At lunchtime, there is a somewhat simpler and more affordable offering.
